Tony Porta-True American Hero

What does it take to be a 'True Hero' in America?
I think it means that you put it all on the line for your country and that you continue to have whole faith in your country no matter what the cost to you personally.
Tony Porta exemplifies that, along with countless US veterans who have lost limbs and been pummeled by the psychological stress of war and are still holding strong and moving forward with their lives as a great inspiration to us all.
Anyone who thinks that war is evil in the face of fighting evil is wrong. The 'facts on the ground' are that all acts of war are (and should be) questioned, in retrospect, so that as a society and a nation we 'live and learn' but it is a fact, that any person who gives themselves, wholly, to the cause of the USA is buying into 'a mission from God'. Look at world history and ask yourselves where the world would be without the USA...?
It's not pretty. And Tony today, 'is not pretty', but Jesus Christ, only Hollywood stars are 'Pretty sex symbols'. Most all of us live as '2nd class' people based on that standard, but we're not 2nd class human beings.
Those who have given Lives, Limbs and Scars for the USA, are the Stars and Stripes on the flag of the greatest nation in the history of the world.
Tony Porta is a TRUE AMERICAN HERO...and everyone should revere his pride and strength.
Flannery O'Connor wrote in her famous short story that 'A good man is Hard to find'
Tony Porta is a good man found and he is a blessing for the USA and the world.
