Look out history books, here we come!
WOW!
Just as the historic health care act 'ACA-ObamaCare' is starting to pan out and prove the first Black president as one of the best ever, here comes History Part II for the Obama administration. Not only is this new pact with Iran and world leaders (concerning Iran's nuclear program) historic, but this may be THE BIG DOMINO in the formula for the biggest peace deal ever, I'm talking Israel-Palestine baby!
That's right! This is exactly the feather of leverage of the West showing even handedness towards an Islamic power that might be necessary to 'help' Israel and the Palestinian nation to show a little more 'flexibility' in their decades long standoff.
Nothing says 'get ye to the peace talks' like other nations leading the way.
Congratulations World! Thank you President Obama, John Kerry, Iranian leaders and Superman (he must have helped out here)!

Now that I've read more on it....Here's the exact deal... (as Kerry says) 'this phase, phase 1, does not give any right for enrichment' but if they live up to obligations in phase 1, then in phase 2 they would gain the right to enrich FAR BELOW weapons grade, to be used to keep their reactor functioning. So the Iranian diplomats are saving face by saying 'eventually (in phase 2, if it comes about) Iran would have some enrichment rights. He leaves out the 'below weapons grade' caveat, but then Iran has always claimed that was not their aim.
ReplyDeleteIran says Obama lied ... there is no deal yet.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2514347/Iran-says-Obama-administration-lied-details-nuclear-deal-White-House-insists-agreed-agreed.html
Democrat Anon4 here briefly with news that American people support the deal. http://thinkprogress.org/security/2013/11/27/3000981/poll-americans-support-iran-deal/
ReplyDeleteEveryone would love peace in the Middle East. Unfortunately it won't happen. There are two competing forces, Shia and Sunni Muslims. Both use Israel (which comprises less than 1% of the total Middle East land mass) as reason to vaporize each other. Saudi Arabia has stated it will now secure nuclear weapons from Pakistan. They don't believe this deal will do anything to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Escalation.
ReplyDeleteI'm also not exactly sure how you deal with a fanatical nation that has stated many times that their goal is the complete obliteration of Israel and Sunni Muslims. Saudi Arabia is so fearful they are now teaming up with Israel to confront a common enemy. The Iranian regime believes that only devastating war will bring back the 12th Imam. It is they who want Armageddon.
As a side note, it would of been nice if Obama used these negotiations to secure the release of American citizens being held there, one a pastor who Iran deemed guilty of being at a "Christian gathering".

ReplyDeleteIran says to continue building at Arak nuclear site despite deal
New Democrat Anon here. I'm #5. Great article Democrat Anon4. It goes to show that the neocons and the Republican Party and the right wing talk show hosts are losing on this issue! :)
ReplyDeleteDemocrat Anon2 here also thanking Democrat Anon4 for the great article.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the Repub Anon is concerned, he/she is a pessimist who won't be satisfied unless humans kill themselves off in Armageddon.
Democrat Anon5 here. @Democrat Anon 2, you hit the nail on the head concerning the Repub Anon. I'm more optimistic about humanity's future than he/she is.
ReplyDeleteDemocrat Anon 2 here. When it comes to Christianity end times stuff, I'm in the idealism camp. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idealism_%28Christian_eschatology%29
ReplyDeleteDemocrat Anon 5 here. @Democrat Anon 2, same way with me.
ReplyDeleteDemocrat Anon 4 here. @Democrat Anons 2 and 5, you are very welcome. Also, I, too, am in the idealism camp when it comes to Christian eschatology.
ReplyDeleteOoops ...
ReplyDelete"What the White House didn’t report is that the text of the accord makes several major concessions to Tehran on the terms of a planned second-stage agreement. Though White House officials and Secretary of State John F. Kerry repeatedly said that Iran’s assertion of a “right to enrich” uranium would not be recognized in an interim deal, the text says the “comprehensive solution” will “involve a mutually defined enrichment program with mutually agreed parameters.” In other words, the United States and its partners have already agreed that Iranian enrichment activity will continue indefinitely. In contrast, a long-standing U.S. demand that an underground enrichment facility be closed is not mentioned.
The most troubling part of the document provides for what amounts to a sunset clause in the comprehensive agreement. It says the final deal will “have a specified long-term duration to be agreed upon,” and that once that time period is complete, “the Iranian nuclear program will be treated in the same manner as that of any non-nuclear weapon state party” to the Non-Proliferation Treaty. Iran thus could look forward to a time when there would be no sanctions and no special restrictions on its nuclear capacity; it could install an unlimited number of centrifuges and produce plutonium without violating any international accord".

Democrat Anon5 here. The above was brought to us by the typical Repub spinner, cherry picking stuff. LOL!
ReplyDeletePerhaps you should revisit your definiton of "spin". I simply quoted the Washington Post article. It might behoove you to read it.
DeleteDemocrat Anon2 here. It is spin because what you did was pick out an opinion piece to quote that supports your position.
DeleteAlso, we Democrat Anons make up our own minds what we want to read.
Democrat Anon5 here. Exactly right Democrat Anon2!
DeleteSure buddy, whatever you don't like is "spin". Got it. I'll tell that to the Washington Post editorial board, authors of the article.
DeleteAlso, you make up your own minds what you want to read? You mean you cherry pick?
hahahahahahahahaha You guys couldn't think your way out of a wet bag made of tissue.
Anon2: "Anon5 ... have you received our reading material from Liberal HQ yet"?
Anon5: "Not yet Anon2 ... while were waiting we should avoid reading anything not pre-approved. We might learn something and that would be dangerous. We might inadvertently blurt out the truth and we would be exiled from the herd".
Anon2: "Gosh, you're right! I'm gonna stick my head in the sand. Wanna join me"?
Anon5: "You bet. Thinking is dangerous!"
Democrat Anon5 here. Speaking in sarcastic tone: "That was sooooo funny I forgot to laugh."
DeleteDemocrat Anon4 here. Don't feed the Repub Anon troll (or trolls, it might be more than one).
DeleteDemocrat Anon2 here. I'm willing to bet it's more than one and they are funded by the Kock Brothers. Hahaha!
DeleteDemocrat Anon2 here. That should be: Koch. Trying to type and post too fast.
DeleteGood grief ... it's like talking to the Borg. One mind, no individualism, no thinking, just obeying commands.
DeleteLiberal Mothership: "AnonBorg2 ... be sure to include "Koch Bros" in your battles with all those who refuse assimilation".
AnonBorg2: "Understood AnonBorg Mothership. Use "Koch Bros. to attack non-compliant".
Democrat Anon5 here. Sorry to burst your bubble but we have individualism.
DeleteSorry, lockstep adherence to liberal dogma and repetitions of "Koch Bros." does not imply individualism. My bubble is still intact.
DeleteGood try though. A sign perhaps, that one day you too may be free of the AnonBorg control.
Democrat Anon4 here. Haha! Pot calling the kettle black! Your side does the same thing Repub Anon. Y'all parrot whatever you hear Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. say.
DeleteDemocrat Anon1 checking in from Thanksgiving vacation. Give up on this blog Repub Anon. You're wasting you're time here.
DeleteThanks for checking in AnonBorg1. Today's code word is "Koch Bros."
DeleteAnonBorg4, did the Mothership tell you to use Limbaugh and Hannity as well?
Democrat Anon1 here. I made up my own mind to say that, dude.
DeleteDemocrat Anon2 here. None of the other Democrat Anons tell me what to say either.
DeleteThis is hilarious.
DeleteI'm glad AnonBorgs, that no one tells you what to say (except democrats, far left web sites, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and various far left rabble rousers and newspapers).
AnonBorgs ... why is it all liberal ideas must be forced on people by government?
Democrat Anon4 here. Those aren't far left. You want far left, check out online alternative news outlets, such as Democracy Now or Alternet.
DeleteDemocrat Anon2 here. The mainstream media outlets Repub Anon listed are actually centrist or moderate. As this article says, the playing field has shifted further to the right, making centrist positions simply appear liberal. http://www.factandmyth.com/the-liberal-mainstream-media
DeleteDemocrat Anon5 here. An excellent breakdown of what media is Center, Liberal, and Left: http://www.liberalmoonbat.com/Left.html
DeleteDemocrat Anon5 here. An excellent breakdown of what media is Conservative and what media off to the far Right: http://www.liberalmoonbat.com/Right.html#Right
DeleteNow that's spin.
DeleteDemocrat Anon4 here. Those are facts, dude.
DeleteDemocrat Anon1 here. Repub Anon needs to spend some time encountering the far left on the Commondreams.org blog. He/she may like it because they constantly complain about Democrats there. Many of them like to vote for The Green Party, the most well-known far left political party.
DeleteYou guys are so confused.
DeleteYour liberalmoonbat site has anarchists as far left. Anarchy is at the complete right of the spectrum ... complete lack of government.
Communist China US Today Center United States founded
----------------------------------X---------------------------X------------------------X----------------------------------Anarchy
USSR
What the founders did was give us a representaive Republic and a Constitution that severely restrained the federal government. Most power was reserved to the states and the people giving us the most freedom any country had ever experienced. Governance at the state and local level is best where the government is most answerable to the people.
Over time, corrupt government officials have expanded the role of the federal government, virtually usurping states rights and the US Constitution. It is now a corrupt behemoth concerned only with growing and protecting it's power and wealth. Making as many people as possible dependent on government is one way it does that. The other way is with force, which I fully expect this corrupt administration to use against American citizens.
Well, that diagram didn't turn out.
DeleteAnarchy should be at the far right. The US was founded between center and far right. The US is now between center and far left ... heading towards complete government control.
AnonBorg4 ... you're clueless.
DeleteDemocrat Anon5 here. The liberalmoonbat site is correct. And I second the opinion that you go hang out with your mirror-image peers at Commondreams.org.
DeleteAnonBorg5 ... you're clueless as well.
DeleteIf you guys would ever read something besides propaganda you might get a clue.
Democrat Anon2 here. Only in Repub Anon's alternate history the US was founded between center and far right. LOL! Thanks for the laughs, dude.
DeleteDemocrat Anon4 here. LOL! Anything that doesn't support the right is propaganda! LOL!
DeleteDemocrat Anon1 here. Excellent post concerning the Founding Fathers: http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/05/20/the-founding-liberals/
DeleteDemocrat Anon4 here. Thanks for posting that Democrat Anon1. Sadly, will never convince any rapid conservative.
DeleteStop showing your ignorance and don't confuse classic liberalism with modern liberalism.
DeleteThere is nothing "liberal" about modern liberalism except abortion, weed and how liberals think the fruit of someone's labor belongs to them. Classic liberalism is conservatism. Modern liberalism is quasi-socialism ... concerned with ever growing and powerful government that controls everything. Early 20th century progressives successfuly remade themselves into "liberals" after the public became disenchanted with their support for Hitler, Stalin and eugenics. Todays "progressives" are no different than their predecessors.
If you think Jefferson was "liberal" in todays defintion then you really are ignorant.
So in summary it appears we have nothing more than what I said earlier ... AnonBorg ... knowing nothing but what theyr're told, and too afraid to read anything else for fear of excommunication from the Borg herd.
DeleteWe have AnonBorg that think anarchy is far left, and that Thomas Jefferson was a "liberal" according to today's definition.
Sad really, AnonBorg can be saved but they must first be willing to use their damn brains.
Democrat Anon1 here. @Democrat Anon4, I've gotten to the point where I could care less if they are convinced or not. If they want to live in denial, that's fine by me!
DeleteDemocrat Anon4 here. @Democrat Anon1, occasionally there's some sane Republicans out there - like this guy: http://www.forwardprogressives.com/common-sense-shown-by-a-republican-conservative-millionaire-on-a-mission-to-raise-the-minimum-wage/
DeleteDemocrat Anon1 here. @Democrat Anon4. Thanks for that. Those are the Republicans I respect.
DeleteHmmmmmm .... he wants to raise the minimum wage to $12.00. That should fix everything. I wonder what happens to the people that are already making $12.00? Raise their pay too?
DeleteNo matter, unexperienced and unskilled people should be paid as much as experienced and skilled workers anyway. And since the minimum wage has resulted in nothing more than continued cries to raise the minimum wage again and again we should just raise it to $50.00 an hour and be done with it. Liberals can easily afford a $30.00 cup of Starbucks coffee.
Democrat Anon2 here. Thanks for posting that Democrat Anon4. They're hard to find these days, but there are some Republicans like that Unz guy who have some common sense.
DeleteDemocrat Anon5 here. I guarantee you that the Teabaggers would call that Unz guy a RINO. We need more Republicans like him in Washington.
DeleteDemocrat Anon1 here. I'm getting ready to head back home so I don't have a lot of time to post. @Democrat Anon5, I think that Virginia having a clean sweep of Blue is a good sign that people are getting sick and tired of drinking bitter Red Tea.
Delete^^^ AnonBorg ... incapable of independent thought or speech. Notice how they herd and protect each other while making sure none stray from approved talking points.
DeleteDemocrat Anon2 here. @Democrat Anon1, I hope people are finally coming to their senses too.
DeleteYes, we certainly need more corrupt government, crushing debt, and people dependent on what few taxpayers will remain.
DeleteI wonder if any of you morons can tell me when enough is enough? When do socialist/communist/progressive/liberal/democrats say OK ... we can stop now.
When all your opposition is dead or in jail? When utopia is reached?
I'll wait while the Mothership transmits your reply.
Democrat Anon2 here. The Repub Anon troll's attempts at humor are soooooo not working.
DeleteIt's your brain that's not working. Disconnect from the Mothership.
DeleteDemocrat Anon4 here. I think it will be fun to troll whatever GOTea blog Repub Anon hangs out at when not trolling here, give him/her and his/her sheeple buddies a taste of their own medicine.
DeleteDemocrat Anon2 here. Great idea! Count me in!
DeleteYou AnonBorg can't even write relevant and substantive comments, so "trolling" other blogs would be unadvisable.
DeleteDisconnect from the Mothership and return to reality.
Democrat Anon5 here. Count me in as well! laughs evilly @ Repubs reading: hahahaha!
DeleteDemocrat Anon1 here. I am home now. Count me in on too!
DeleteHello. I'm a moderate Republican Anonymous who reads here from time to time. @ the Democrat Anonymouses, I support you wholeheartedly!
DeleteThen you're not a Republican. Man you people are dumbasses.
DeleteDemocrat Anon 2 here. @Moderate Republican Anonymous, ignore the ultra-conservative Repub Anons here. Because they cannot carry on a civilized conversation without resorting to insults and cussing, they are not worth talking to.
DeleteModerate Repub Anon here. Thanks Democrat Anon 2. I'll be glad when the reactionary conservatives finally get purged from my party.
DeleteMaybe you haven't noticed yet AnonBorg2 ... but you're incapable of carrying on conversation much less a civilized one. You're fooling no one with your lame excuses.
DeleteAs for the moby "Repub Anon" ... you're not fooling anyone either. Supporting socialist policies makes you well ... a socialist. Not too hard to figure out.
Democrat Anon2 here. @Moderate Repub Anon, I'll be glad too!
DeleteDemocrat Anon4 here. @Moderate Repub Anon, I predict that eventually either the moderates of the Republican Party will split and form a new party or the Tea Party will be the ones splitting and becoming a third party.
Deletehttp://themoderatevoice.com/187652/could-the-tea-party-split-from-the-gop-guest-voice/
Democrat Anon2 here. Haha! Good one Democrat Anon5! He/she is wasting his/her time trolling here.
ReplyDeleteDemocrat Anon5 here. Totally agree Democrat Anon2. He/she is never going to persuade us so he/she might as well leave here.
