Is Rap/Hip-Hop Killing Black People?

I ask this question, not because I don't realize that Rap/Hip-Hop is IN FACT validly representing the REALITY of 'Life on the Streets' today, but because Rap/Hip-Hop is not TODAY complaining about about the laws that are unjustly destroying the fabric of life for African Americans in the USA Today.

Rap/Hip-Hop today, paints an eloquent picture of the world we live in, but instead of complaining about it, Rap/Hip-Hop today, tends to embrace it and glorify those who succeed within it, rather than focus on THE FACT that 'the system' is killing and demoralizing the lives of millions of decent people.

Our popular music owes more to our people than that. Did we popularize those AfrAmericans who made the most of their lives under Slavery? HELL NO!

So, the point is, not to glorify those who succeed under unjust drug laws, but to CHANGE THE LAW, FOR ALL THE PEOPLE!
