While the Western Press is in an uproar over the fact that the Muslim World has reacted violently in opposition to their religion being demonized, yet again, by a well financed Westerner, we seem to be missing something here....
Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu is promoting (on a daily basis) the right and need for Israel to start a pre-emptive war with Iran...over what? Words? Speech? Iran has not attacked Israel in any way, but they have 'said things' that Netanyahu and his Likud Party in Israel find offensive and dangerous. The issue of Iran's nuclear weapon potential is largely a moot point in military terms because no matter whether Iran develops a nuclear weapon (as Israel, Pakistan, India and North Korea have) or not, the key component here is the delivery system. Does Iran have the missile technology to deliver such a weapon upon, say, Jerusalem? Yes is the answer, I think. So, the question is begged, 'why haven't they done so already'? Because the fact is that Iran already has bombs (non-nuclear) which are powerful enough to leave Jerusalem in shambles. But why would they want to?
And why would they be waiting? Why haven't they attacked Israel already? It makes no sense at all to wonder. The fact is that, no matter where the hearts and minds of the Iranian leadership are, they are not SUICIDAL. Because they do know that such an attack would mean the END of the Iranian government, as the whole world would stand against them for such an assault.
So, while the Muslim world reacts in violent protest at Western Embassies over the 'Free Speech' rights of Westerners to denigrate their religion, Israel is openly declaring War on Iran...over WORDS, SPEECH, FREE SPEECH?
Please, as a planet let us recognize that denigrating each others religion, or family, or pets is OFF LIMITS.
