With so many candidates and the debates starting so early it would be better if Democrats started the primaries sooner too. If we could have the Iowa and NH contests this November and pick a candidate by March that would leave much needed time to reunify after fighting so hard.
Not being unified is what cost us the election in 2016 and it's looking like that could happen again. It seems crazy that we're going to beat each other up for a year and not begin the healing process until a year from now and that will be only three months from the election. We should pick a candidate at least six months prior to the election and begin working in unison.
