ROBOT NEWS-Corrupt News Networks

It has been said that 'power corrupts', but it is not so, poverty corrupts.

The poor media has become corrupt and it's not because they are powerful, but because they are 'poor' financially speaking.

The advent of the internet with its endless string of 'free facts' has taken the entire profit model that the news industry is based on and flushed it down the [Make up your own techno metaphor for toilet].

No one pays for 'news' anymore and so the 'news' papers and networks have 'moved away' from reporting news. Instead, they are forced for survival to obsess on whatever grabs the most public attention.

Because of their dire financial straits news outlets today no longer tell the public what they think the news is, instead they report on what interests the public most at the moment. Today, our major news outlets use the same standard for publication as our tabloids do. Fact.

President Elect Donald J Trump should never have gotten past the question "Mr. Trump, why did you publicly accuse President Obama of being an illegitimate president for the last seven years?"

What they think the news is?

If the media were reporting objectively they wouldn't have to think. Facts are facts. It either is or it isn't.

For the last several decades the "media" has been telling you what they want you to think. The media have shirked their duty as the watchdogs of government and have become propagandists for it.

Read up on Edward Bernays ... the father of modern propaganda. Goebbels read him. He was an American progressive who hated the average American. Fun fact 1: Breakfast is now considered the most important meal of the day because of him. Fun fact 2: Prior to WWII and Hitler's use of Bernays propaganda techniques, "propaganda" did not have negative connotations. After WWII "propaganda" was considered a dirty word so what did Bernays do? He successfully changed it to "public relations". Remember that.

That is a very shallow observation, totally out of touch with the reality of news reporting. Obviously there are infinite 'facts' to choose from when deciding what is newsworthy. A reporter or network could choose to simply 'report' on the number of cars passing their offices all day, but that isn't newsworthy. Good journalism focuses on the most pertinent 'facts' affecting our lives. The 'fact that Trump lied about the legitimacy of president Obama's citizenship for seven years is the prime thing Trump should have been held accountable for and he wasn't. The 'pussy-grabbing' video brought ratings and so the news outlets covered it non-stop for two weeks and they never held Trump accountable for lying about Obama's citizenship for seven years.

    2. One of the most grievous sins by the media is their penchant for OMITTING facts that might be harmful to progressives/socialists/atheists/communists/globalists.

IF the media was truly objective and independent then they would have reported that it was Hillary Clinton's campaign in 2008 that started the "birther" movement.

  2. By the way ... if you want to see REAL journalism watch this. A female reporter dares to challenge the propaganda media and tell the truth about Syria.
