I wish some of my conservative friends could assuage the worst of my fears of a Trump presidency, but I fear that many Trump supporters want something that scares me to death.
Here's how it goes...Trump fulfills his promise of blocking Muslim immigrants to the USA. This inflames the Muslim world, both the masses of peaceful Muslims and the small pockets of terrorists. Sadly, but inevitably there will be some kind of successful terrorist attack in the USA or on our foreign military bases.
Potentially Trump reacts in similar fashion as the GW Bush administration did after 9-11, meaning he starts a war with a nation not at fault for the terrorist act, but instead of Iraq, this time we attack Iran. But the Iranian military is vastly more capable and powerful than was Iraq's. And I seriously doubt that China and Russia will sit this potential conflict out, as they did with the Iraq war.
Trump fulfills his promise to "Bomb the shit out of them" but the real terrorists are glad to die and mostly innocent people die at the hands of the USA, again.
A recipe for WWIII

I'm sorry, but until you start thinking clearly you will not understand what is happening. For starters, no one needs to do anything to inflame the muslim world. Muslims are doing the same thing they've been doing for 1400 years. Killing and expanding to gain territory and power.

Secondly, the only thing Islam respects is power. You cannot negotiate peace with an ideology whose stated goal is world domination and the extermination of everything non-Islamic.
Just as in the Crusades, the world must join together to push back against the expansion of Islam and crush them mercilessly when jihadism raises it's ugly head. Only when they know certain destruction is imminent will the Islamists concede defeat and fall back.
As it stands now the left has allied with Islam in their shared goal of eliminating Christianity and Judaism.
Communism views Christianity ... it's morals, traditions and family values as the biggest impediment to it's success. They will use Islam as a means to carry that out.
The left is not your friend. They have used decades of psychological conditioning to make you feel guilty for defending your nation, your religion and who you are. The entire purpose of political correctness to is to make you weak and defenseless.
When you begin to understand that everything the left tells you is designed to get you to respond in a manner they want, then you will be set free.
