Follow the money...
No matter where political campaigns get their money, from rich or poor individuals or from corporations, whether they self finance or are supported by outside groups, one thing is for certain, the money winds up in the hands of media outlets in the form of political advertising.
Our public airwaves and rights of way for cable belong to the American public.
We must demand that any media outlet that accepts any money for political advertisements be required to set aside just as much time for free political advertising to qualified candidates. And we must demand that all cable and satellite providers set aside at least one channel strictly dedicated to free political ads.
