The Texas Fertilizer Plant Tragedy and this IRS Scandal both show that much of our government is too small and weak to do its job. That plant where 14 people died and hundreds were sickened had over 1000 times the amount of combustible material on site (allowed by regulations) and yet the plant had not been inspected in 14 years! And this factory carried only 1 million dollars in insurance!
The IRS likewise was understaffed overworked and under-regulated for such an unfair and rotten profiling policy to to take place and go undiscovered for so long.
Tax rates on the most wealthy in the USA were triple what they are today from 1940-1980, America's hay-day! Small Government Conservatives were the victims in the IRS scandal but it is their 'small government' policies that led to the whole mess and which are victimizing all of America as we suffer along with our infrastructure crumbling while China takes the lead.
It's sad.
