As we continue to explode into the digital age with computers and the internet as our sociological BIG BANG we need to develop simple ways to preserve our 'digital selves' after we're gone.
Our Facebook pages, Twitter accounts and e-mails should live on after us if we want them to, but presently there is no formal way to arrange this. Yes we can leave our passwords with a trusted person, but if any of those accounts ever demanded formal proof of ownership that could end the account.
We need a simple way to pass on our digital selves. The cost of memory space is only going down and will continue. Cost is not the object. We just need a formal means of arranging these things.
Come on Internet Lawyers! Save our Digital Souls!
