They are the property of the citizens of the USA and Clear Channel only 'Leases Them' from the Federal Communications Commission [FCC] with the promise and obligation, to reflect and appeal to the interests and values of the citizenry within their boundaries. Clear Channel is DOING THE OPPOSITE, in Portland Oregon and all over the USA!
Just because the state of Georgia votes Red doesn't mean that a station [WGAU] within the ALL BLUE Athens GA Clarke County area should reflect that ENTIRELY. It's not right! And the FCC needs to consider this!
We've gotten WAAAY OFFFF what the clear FCC guidelines suggest for broadcasting and licensing standards. This has been the case since the Fairness Doctrine was eliminated during the Reagan administration.
