Boortz should apologize and the incident should be reported to the FCC, FBI and Secret Service. I'm going to do that and Cox is liable to do the same.
This is what happens when you, Cox-WSB, never allow any opposing view on the public airwaves, unless, someone calls in and then they are mocked and demonized. You are setting up violent conflict."

Your email was passed on to me by our director of syndication, Paul Douglas.

First, thank you for listening and for writing. .. sincerely. I went to our tapes and reviewed the on-air content, and found that the woman’s content was ‘dumped’ via our delay system.

Then, I reviewed what the caller said exactly—the part that did not air on News/Talk WSB nor on any of Neal’s affiliate stations.

There was no threat made in the woman’s comment; she did however make a tasteless joke that Neal nor WSB would find suitable for clearing the air.

I have, however, forwarded the exact scripts—both on-air and off-air—to our head of security to determine whether there needs to be any further action on our part. At this point, I do not assess that there is a need for action or reporting.
