Republicans of all stripes must realize that their frontal leaders in attack on the Democrats are not letting them in on a little secret of American history.
Within the history of our mongrel nation, stitched together and bled for, one thing holds true throughout. Those who were forced to accept the absolute lowest rung on the ladder upon entry here, African Americans, never ever fail when given the opportunity to take their heritage forward on the American stage. On the contrary, they always excell when given the chance to further prove their true equality and pure value to the quilt of our country. President Obama is doing a damned fine job and you should be proud!
Stop being apoplectic about President Obama and start pulling for him. You'll be better for it and your country will too. We may be a great nation still, but we have to earn it and our ancestors have given more than we are asking of ourselves.
