...honest to God,
...is a 24/7/365 live newscycle with massive potential gains or losses based on ratings. And that's what we have. Not only must each organization stay up to the second, every second, but they must also by their very nature, forget what happened in recent memory. They all seemingly think they have to give mutually assured full coverage of the top rated story and then they all switch direction at once and there really is nowhere in mass media where any major media outlet is focusing on the basic history of our present financial circumstance and the one that everyone compares it too constantly.
The Great Depression. People say it over and over, but who ever asks...
"Since we are always comparing this economic crash to The Great Depression, would you please speak to the period after the depression from 1940 to 1980 in terms of the tax rates, the national debt and total federal accomplishments, to America since 1980 and today's crash and downturn?"
Mr. President, I beg you to ask this question and never quit asking it.
And to those of you who don't support the president, get the fuck off your asses and ask this question too.
