If you aren't already on/near Social Security, then "NO WE CAN'T" provide it for you anymore, even though it is far less than citizens of France and Germany and England get!
If you want modern rail transportation like all of Europe has and China and Japan have, then "NO WE CAN'T" give you that, we can't even duplicate the rail service we had in the 1950s! Even though it would help business and the economy and ease traffic, "NO WE CAN'T".
"NO WE CAN'T" build any new bridges, and "NO WE CAN'T" even do the basic maintenance on the ones our parents and grandparents built.
Do you want to make friends with the other nations on our continent, North and South America? "NO WE CAN'T" say the Republicans. Europe has had the ID worker/voter system down very well for a long time...
America says "We Can" and the Republicans say "NO WE CAN'T".
