WE NEED WATER FOR GEORGIA!!!
Letter Writing Campaign for Georgia Reservoir!!!

This is one issue that we can come together on as Georgians. We all know we need water and we better all learn that we are about to run out as we lose control of the Lanier reservoir.
That reservoir was built with federal money by the Army Corps of Engineers and without it Georgia would not be what it is today. But since it's controlled by other states who never needed the water until now we are about to run dry.
It is only fair and reasonable that the federal government would recognize that Georgia has become dependent on Lanier and that we can't replace it without federal help.
I think that any administration of any political party would see the validity of this request. Our Republican Governor agrees with this and the present administration in Washington leans this way anyway in terms of federal projects to create jobs etc.
This is the kind of government action that capitalism likes. Let's give the politicians and the candidates their marching orders!
WE NEED WATER FOR GEORGIA!!!

  1. I'd say it's time capitalism got what it deserves. Atlanta was over developed with little or no oversight. That pond was never intended to support so many people. So, how about all those fatcat developers and "conservative" politicians figure a way out of the situation.

Georgia screwed the pooch on this one and it's time for just desserts. You red staters hate socialism? Well, how about sending those federal dollars to the ones who made them in the first place - the blue states.

To all my "blue" friends in Georgia = just leave. Take your dollars and your talents and your businesses and leave Sonny to pray for rain.

  3. I agree, but if they won't help themselves then there's no reason for them to take good people down with them.

I left Georgia two years ago and it was the best decision I've ever made.
