Neal, you've been a thorn in my side for many years and I've tried to find ways to be one in yours, but since Cox Broadcasting and WABC are without any Populist voice on their airwaves I cannot speak to the audience you speak to. I can call in to Liberal shows on other networks and speak my piece to the choir, but I can't reach your audience. Please don't think that the sham of over-controlling, talking over the caller, bullying you engage in actually allows an exchange of views. It doesn't.
The reason you think you're right about so much is that you really don't listen to any opposing views and therefore your audience doesn't get to either. Of course you have a very clever trick you very rarely use to fool us on this. When you think you have found the perfect 'liberal patsey' you tell them to 'take a whole minute and tell us all your political views'. But you always pick a nervous unprepared person, who you can tell doesn't really have it together.
So you're retiring at the end of the year. I am the one Populist caller who has thoroughly whipped your ass and your dearly beloved ex-co host/engineer Royal Marshall told me so in an e-mail. I challenge you to raise the bar on your career and give populist, liberal voices one minute per day until you're gone. Or if you won't do that, give me FIVE ONE TIME! I'll give you enough to keep you busy thinking for the rest of your life!
